Fishing is the main occupation of the people of Azizakpey. For generations, people have lived off, and survived, through fishing.

The women usually process the fish caught by the fishermen in to fried fish to be sold on the market.

With the dwindling catch from the men, this source of livelihood for the women of Azizapkey is becoming harder and harder to sustain.
