Belinda Alhassan is a student in media and communications at Tamale Technical University, and the photographer behind this series. She describes herself as an women's rights activist.
'I care so much about the economic, political, social growth of women and girls in society. It motivates me to see women do well for themselves, and my mother is my main inspiration.'
Belinda learnt a lot about how small-scale farmers are affected by rising temperatures and drought.
'It was very interesting that, although women know that drought, or flooding will affect yields, some still go ahead and farm. They don't want to leave the land to waste.'
