Sitei Lemomo, the younger of two wives, defies traditional norms and takes charge of her family's well-being by embracing various daily wage tasks within her village. She engages in a unique endeavor that involves harnessing and transporting sacks of sandy salt, that us known as Magadi, to farmers in neighboring Tanzania as a way to earn income.

Undeterred by the distance, she embarks on arduous journeys that span several days, traversing rugged terrain to fulfill her commitments in order to provide food and care for her family.
