Add to CartPeter and Esperance remember having a great life in Nombe. They owned their land and had five cows. There was always milk in their home. They had manure and could make compost with it to support their farm. At that time, Esperance worked as a primary school teacher, although she was not trained for teaching. But she lost her job when the school started to hire trained teachers, despite her students always describing her as a good teacher.
