Although Generosa puts on a happy face, she is someone who is very hard to read. She often seems to be lost in her own thoughts - perhaps owing to everything she went through - but tries hard not to show it when interacting with others. As someone who has endured a lot, Hatekimana is not particularly inclined towards social interactions outside her family, and one has to probe further to understand the depths of her thoughts.
