Generosa’s will and determination to get out of perhaps the toughest situation she has faced yet is evident in how she has been able to rally friends and family to support her in building her life back.

In a short amount of time, she was able to acquire land by trading part of her former land with a landowner who was looking for land to farm on. She borrowed from savings groups, and shared her story with many to garner the backing she needed to start rebuilding her home.
